In the press statement, the three teacher unions wrote that they ‘hope’ the 2022 CPD Allowance would be paid before the end of Saturday, December 31, 2022.
This comes after an alleged deduction of teachers continuous professional development allowance surfaced online.
The purported story being circulated on social media platforms claimed that teacher unions are planning to deduct an amount of GHS 295 to GHS430 from this year’s professional allowance for the purchase of modem and TLMs for teachers.
However, the Ministry of Education on 9th September, 2022 issued a statement to inform all teachers to disregard such falsehood story.
