WASSCE 2022: Students Planning To Attack Invigilators After The Exams – Regional Security Council Cautions

It has come to the attention of the Ashanti Regional Security Council, that some final year
students who are currently writing their 2022 West African Senior School Certificate
Examinations (WASSCE) are planning to cause mayhem and destruction to school
property, and also attack some teachers and invigilators after their examinations.

The Ashanti Regional Security Council wishes to caution all final year students and advise
them to concentrate on completing their examinations, abide by school rules and
regulations, and leave the schools peacefully after the examinations.

Students who decide to misbehave and engage in acts of misconduct or hooliganism, will
be dealt with in accordance with the Law.

Students who are arrested for misconduct and
reckless behaviour, will not be spared, but will be prosecuted and further surcharged with
the cost of damage.

In this regard, parents and guardians are entreated to advice their wards to be of good
behavior, write their examinations and leave their schools peacefully.

The Ashanti Regional Security Council wishes all final students very well as they complete
their final examinations. God bless all SHS final year students in the Ashanti Region.
