Ghana Education Service Suspended the End of Term Examination In Schools across the country

Following the reopening of schools for the 2021 academic year, Management directed that all KG to JHS students participate in recovery learning.

Management wishes to inform all the heads of schools that, there should not be any end of semester exams at the basic school level (KG-JHS).

Head teachers and teachers are to use class exercises and tests to assess students/Pupils.

This means that, students are to be promoted base on their performances in the class exercises and tests that they will be doing.

This clearly shows that, their continuous assessments will be used to determine whether a student progresses or still remains where he/she is.

Management further wishes to inform all the District Directors and School Heads that the existing arrangements for stationery use at the District Offices, which is to be deducted from schools’ capitation grant allocation remains in force.
