GES Finally Reveals Date For The Release Of BECE Placement – [CHECK DATE]

The boss of the Ghana Education Service has revealed when the BECE placement is going to be released.

In an interview with Nana Yaw Kesseh on Kokrokoo morning show on Peace FM as closely monitored by Frichynews.com, the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Professor Kwesi Opoku Amankwa revealed that the placement will be released on January ending.

WAEC officially released the provisional results of candidates who sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for School Candidates on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

According to Prof. Opoku Amankwa, it takes almost 2 weeks for GES to get all the released results from WAEC in order to facilitate their placement process. The GES had the results during the Christmas period.

The GES boss revealed that they are working on the placements for them to be released by the end of January, 2021. He said this will give the GES ample time to work on candidates who will encounter difficulties in their placements before March, which is the period they will go to school.
