The Management of The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST)has released the list of successful applicants for various programmes for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Prospective students can check their admission status by visiting the KNUST admission Portal below

The admission status of a prospective student can be located click on your preferred admission list on the page (e.g Undergraduate or Postgraduate). Then Select your course of study or Enter your Surname in the Search box and click the search button to access your admission status.

After one has been able to find his/her program of study on the Admission Portal, he/she must proceed to print the Admission Letter.

KNUST Fees Schedule For 2020/2021 Undergraduate Regular Students

After confirming your admission and printing your admission letter, Students are required to pay the relevant fees as specified here into KNUST MAIN FEES COLLECTION ACCOUNT at any of the following banks: GCB BANK/ECOBANK/UBA BANK/CAL BANK/BARCLAYS BANK/GT BANK and GHANA POST.

KNUST Admission SMS Alert

Admitted students are expected to receive an SMS alert After successfully paying their fees.

How to apply for KNUST Residential Hall Accommodation

On accommodation, you will be requested to select your room online on the portal(you need to be fast about this part to avoid complications). first years admitted will have to pay GHC 1,002.75 for accommodation in any hall of residence. Having paid your academic facility user fees stated above, follow the link below to book accommodation.

KNUST Halls of residence

Traditionally, KNUST has six (6) main halls, which include: Independence Hall, Africa Hall, University Hall, Republic Hall, Unity Hall, and Queens Hall.

2020/2021 KNUST Freshers Arrival

Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has resolved to resume for academic work from Saturday, 9th January, 2021 for fresh students.

‘Upon arrival, report at your Halls of Residence where you will be required to register and receive keys to your rooms. Staff and student leaders will be available in their numbers to welcome and assist you to go through all the essential formalities. (You are advised to be extremely cautious when dealing with drivers and luggage carriers)

Medical Examination for 2021 Freshers

The University will officially organise a Medical examination for newly admitted students for the 2020/2021 academic year.

The exercise is intended to determine diseases that can affect the academic work of the students and guide the medical staff to offer assistance that can enable the students to pursue their studies.

KNUST Biometric and Course Registration

After student are successfully admitted, they will be going through a biometric registration and an online course registration for the semester.

The AIM APP is the official app for all students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST. the KNUST AIM APP Can be used to perform the following tasks, Course Registration, Fees Payment, Check Result, Transcript, View Academic Calendar, Extra Credit Hours, Deferment of Admission, and many more.
