On Monday, October 19, 2020, the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) released a public notice signed by its head of public relations unit, Cassandra Twum Ampofo informing the general public about its intention of developing its land at Roman Ridge, Accra which is currently occupied by fifteen (15) officers of the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service and some staff of the Accra Technical Training Centre, into a high density residential facility.
The GES states that the project will provide forty (40) flats and other ancillary facilities when completed. All affected staff are therefore being relocated by the GES to other areas in order to facilitate the smooth develoment of the land.
The management of the GES further assures all staff affected that they will be given first priority on completion of the project.
