According to the Ghana Education Service, by December 31, 2020, the recruitment of university graduates who had completed the one-year mandatory National Service and pass the licensure examination will be recruited.
The Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) disclosed the recruitment deadline speaking on Joy Prime’s Beyond the Headlines show with host Daniel Dadzie.
Mr Kwabena Tandoh said his office is working tirelessly to ensure that 6,000 university graduates are recruited before the end of December, because the financial clearance demands that it employs before the said deadline.
“Our hope is that we recruit the 6,000 university graduates before the end of December 31, because our financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance is to ensure that we employ before December 31, 2020.”.
The GES staff further advised university graduates seeking to be employed into service to pay attention to job announcements put out by the GES in terms of what criteria the financial clearance is allowed to be recruited.
Currently, the recruitment of graduates who completed Colleges of Education in 2019 and had passed the teacher licensure examination and completed national service is ongoing and will end October 30.
