Ghana Police Service warns Ghanaians that it is a serious offence committed if one fails to surrender a lost but found Voter’s ID Card to the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana or the Police within seven (7) days.

Frichynews.com’s prying eyes daily on social media caught this Facebook post by the Ghana Police Service on their official page on Sunday, October 11, 2020.

In the post, the Ghana Police Service sends a strong but funny Security Tip on Electoral Offences to Ghanaians that:

If you find a person’s Voter ID Card on the ground and you fail to surrender the card to the Electoral Commission or Police with seven (7) days, you have committed an offence.

The Police posted this Security Tip as part of their Daily Security Tips posted on their various social media platforms in order to deliver services in the crime prevention, detection, apprehension and prosecution for maximum protection, safe, secure and peaceful communities.
