Swollen face severely beaten Presidential Staffer, Charles Bissue

Charles Cromwell Nanabanyin Onuawonto Bissue, a Presidential Staffer and Western Regional Secretary of the NPP has been beaten mercilessly by the ‘bodyguard’ of the incumbent MP for Tarkwa-Nsuaem in the Western Region, George Mireku Duker during a brutal and serious fight scene on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Kingston Hotel in Takoradi in the Western Region.

Swollen eye of Charles Bissue as a result of the fight

According to a source report to FrichyNews.com, Charles Bissue and the incumbent MP, George Duker met in a meeting at Kingston Hotel in Takoradi. There was then a heated argument between the two where Charles Bissue bit the finger of George Duker, the incumbent MP. This then made the bodyguard of the incumbent MP reacted angrily towards Charles Bissue and eventually fought and beat Charles Bissue mercilessly. The severity of the beating received has made Charles Bissue developed a swollen face.

Bitten finger of Tarkwa-Nsuaem MP, George Duker

According to a source report to FrichyNews.com, the relationship between Charles Bissue and the incumbent MP for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, George Mireku Duker has not all that been good before and after the 2020 NPP Parliamentary Primaries election.

The incumbent MP, George Duker, was made to go unopposed in the NPP Parliamentary Primaries whiles Charles Bissue had already brought his preferred candidate, Madam Jocelyn Andoh, to contest the incumbent MP. Since this move from Charles Bissue did not materialised, it then forced Madam Jocelyn Andoh to stand as an Independent Parliamentary Candidate in order to contest the incumbent MP, George Duker for the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Parliamentary hot seat during the December 2020 general election.

FrichyNews.com further understands through our source in the Western Region that the now Independent Parliamentary Candidate, Madam Jocelyn Andoh, had always been campaigning for the people of Tarkwa-Nsuaem to vote for her Nana Akufo-Addo as well. Upon Nana Akufo-Addo’s visit to Tarkwa-Nsuaem, he declared he knew of only the incumbent MP, George Duker and therefore they should vote for him during the December 2020 general election brushing off Madam Jocelyn Andoh, the Independent Parliamentary Candidate.

This development did not go down well with both Charles Bissue and Madam Jocelyn Andoh eventually causing the bad relationship between the Presidential Staffer and Western Regional Secretary of the NPP, Charles Bissue and the incumbent MP, George Andoh.
