Recently, a video quickly surfaced the internet where a final year SHS student was heard publicly reviling insults at the current president, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo. The student whose name is yet to be known was heard communicating discontent at the president, questioning him why the WASSCE integrated science written on 3rd August 2020, was so difficult for him to fathom.

Additionally he told the president that, just as they were in their final year and was misled by his administration, so is it for him to also bear the consequences. He, together with some friends of threatened to vote president Akuffo Addo out of power coming 2020 December elections for misleading them to failure in their WASSCE.
After publicly hurling insults to president Akuffo Addo, this young boy was seen in a picture sighted by Frichy News being escorted by an elderly man claimed to be his father, went to the boy’s school to apologize on behalf of his son for his deviant behavior.
The said school boy isn’t the only student communicating fierceness at the president.There are many more SHS students who have expressed same. What the public don’t comprehend is the reason these SHS students will exclusively accuse the president who has no hand in setting their WASSCE questions, as being the cause for their abysmal performance.

GES, some educationist and other clergymen such as Kennedy Agyapong have all recommended punishments for these notorious students who were caught in that absurd video.
Today on the Maakye morning show on Kessben FM in Kumasi, Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye interviewed the father of the boy which was witnessed by a reporter in Frichy News, he has sorrowfully pleaded for forgiveness of his son’s action.
As per the father, his heart was lamented when he watched the video of his son in such an act and felt so sorrow and ashamed.
But all that he can do as a father to plead on behalf of his son. He stated, “I sorrowfully plead on the president to have mercy on my son and also asking all Ghanaians to forgive him and my family” .
